The Tulse Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Panel is a group of residents that meets quarterly with our local policing team, led by Sergeant Lucy Burrows, to talk through local issues and set “Ward priorities” for Lucy’s team. The team has recently focused on drug dealers and sex workers operating along Brixton Hill with their colleagues from the Brixton Hill policing team. We joined residents from Raleigh Gardens to talk with police officers about the problems they’ve been experiencing and what solutions could be put in place. We’ve also worked with the Met Police traffic team to hold a speed enforcement session on Tulse Hill.
The Safer Neighbourhoods Panel is open to residents living in Tulse Hill Ward and to local businesses based here. If you have a residents group for your street or a TRA operating on your estate that is not currently involved in the Panel get in touch to let us know if they would like to send a representative to join the next Panel meeting (March 2020).
